After replacing the injector fill hose assembly, I have been attempting to reassemble the front cover to the washer. In so doing, the "flat spring clips" that hold the top lid to the front fell off the front. I do NOT have a schematic or drawing showing how these fastener fit into the slots of the front cover. First question, Is there a drawing that shows how to properly install these flat spring fasteners in the front panel? Secondly, Is there an easy way to assemble the front to washer? I have tried several times, but can't seem to get the lid and front to fit, especially with the spring clip fasteners. Please help. Frustrated.
ANSWER Hi Frustrated. I can help. I know that the wider - lip of the flat spring clips position into the front side of the front panel. Insert the wider lip of the clips in first and then pry the other side of the clip into the cut out facing the inside of the front panel. Then you want to align the front panel assembly and from the bottom up you will align up the clips from the panel to the underside of the lid. Then put the bottom of the front panel onto the frame and align the lower screws to install. I hope this helps. Thank you.
