You seriously cant purchase the rubber grommet? That's where my Whirlpool Quiet Partner III is failing. When I test the unit with the door open, water is spraying out of the unused hole. The grommet no longer makes a seal. I took it out and cleaned it but it still leaks. Because of this, the spinners on the top rack & ceiling barely move and my cups are no longer clean. This happened after 4 years.
If you cant purchase it, my guess is they know it's a failure point and why would they sell you a $20 part when then can sell you a $100 part. Lame! If the grommet is not available on the after market then I'm going to rig it with something and when the motor goes I'll buy from a different manufacturer.
ANSWER Hello Jon. Yes, you will need to order the tube assembly 8558964 to replace the rubber grommets. Hope this helps.
