I ordered and received the oven igniter, part #AP4012072 today. I just installed the new part and turned on the oven. The oven came on but the igniter stayed lit and does not turn off once the oven is on. I don't remember seeing the igniter staying on once the oven is on, so I'm wondering why it is staying on now. Any suggestions?

ANSWER Hello Vernon. It is normal for the igniter to stay on in the unit when you have the oven turned on.
