The stove top burners light fine. But the oven will not heat up, barely at all. I could smell gas when I turned the oven on, but the oven only barely gets warm.
ANSWER Hi. If the igniter part # 12400035 opens continuity after just lighting the gas then you will smell gas. A cold igniter will read between 50-500 ohms. If you see s crack in the middle then replace it. Test for 3.2-3.6 volts AC at the gas safety valve with the igniter turned on. If the voltage is there, you have a bad safety valve. If the voltage is low, you have a weak igniter and the igniter will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DM1. Ohm the oven sensor for 1060-1100 ohms cold. Wiggle the wires so you can see if the resistance opens or wires shorts during the testing. Oven sensor part # 12001655. Thank You.
