Water acumulated in tub then overflowed. Does the float have something to do with this? I found it near the drain. What are the symptoms of a faulty hot inlet valve? Can it be tested?
ANSWER Hello David. If the machine was off and the unit filled up and overflowed, then the valve is leaking, and you will need to change the valve 3384890. The float only works when the machine is running. If the machine was running when this happened, then you will need to check and make sure the float is working properly. Hope this helps.
