My dishwasher overflows. It starts to fill water, then water stops, but as soon as washing cycle starts and arm-sprays starts rotating - it will overflow from the bottom of the door. It drains fine though. I have checked the float cup, it moves freely and I can hear a click as i move it up and down.
What could cause the overflowing and how do I fix it?
ANSWER Hello Gino. Check and see if the unit is overfilling. If so, and the float is good, you will need to order and replace the valve on the unit. If it is not overfilling, you will need to check and see if the door gasket is bad and needs to be replaced on the unit.
