Whirlpool gas dryer...drum very hard to turn...sounds as if motor trying to turn but can't. I pulled front and top covers..drum spins easy on only rear mount. Front seal looks worn. I was thinking of replacing front seal and belt.

ANSWER Hello Michael. If the front seal 3406129 is worn on the unit, you will need to replace the seal on the unit. Hope this helps.
