Odor from washer from water laying in the rubber gasget there is always water in there after I spins out
ANSWER Kevin, A model and serial number would be greatly appreciated, We can be more precise in assisting you. Several things to check, first. If you washer was updated, there should be a drain opening in the center bottom of the boot(6 o'clock position) that could be clogged with debris, lint, etc. Check the water level in the tub, start the washer, with nothing in the tub, allow the washer to fill and wash for a few minutes, pause the washer and open the doorwhen it unlocks. Using a ruller , measure the water level at the rear of the tub(deepest area) it should measure 3 to 4 inches deep(give or take 1/2 an inch). allow the washer to progress through the cycle to the rinse, allow the washer to fill and wash a few minutes, the water level should increase by 1 inch in the rinse cycle. If all's OK, then you will need to check for the proper detergent and softner usage, you may have a sudsing/foaming issue.
