Hello. hopefully you can help out. Dryer seems to work great but when we open the door a strong smell of natural gas comes out. But we do not smell gas when it is not running. I tried tightening the gas fittings that i could but still smell. Like I said only during and when we open the door right after it has ran. I was leaning towards replacing the gas valve coils, or is there a gas regulator in the machine?
You will want to check the flame on the dryer to ensure that you are getting blue flame. It sounds like though you may have an issue with the gas valve not closing properly.
