UNIT WILL NOT HEAT; HAVE REPLACED IGNITOR WHICH WAS BAD (HAD BURN MARKS AND CRACKED); HAVE REPLACED COILS AND STILL IGNITOR COMES ON BUT DOES NOT IGNITE GAS. (GAS IS COMING THRU) WHAT'S NEXT?
ANSWER Novice, What do you mean by "Gas is coming through" ? Before you replace the gas valve, remove and check the burner orifice for clogs or debris, and gas supply pressure to the gas valve assembly. Good Luck and Thanks.
