Note: This question is for the older version of this part, but we thought you might still find it helpful
We recently used oven cleaner on a whirlpool oven, Whirlpool: model: RBS305PDQ12, I left the cleaner working over night with the oven door fully opened, flat. The oven cleaner seeped between the exterior oven door glass and the foil adjacent to the glass. It looks like the white on the inside of the glass is flat(opposed to glossy), almost pourous. If we remove the glass, how can we clean it? Also, if the glass needs to be replaced, will the above part, outer-door-glass--white--item-number-ap3085052.aspx, work on our oven model? and is the foil and any needed seals included?
ANSWER Hi Ocd. If you need a white glass it is part # 9759639. The black one is part # 9759641. The stainless is part # 9759074. The biscuit color glass is part # 9759640. If there is any foil in between it will be mounted on the opposite side of the glass itself. Make sure that you really clean the entire inner door and the inner cavity w/ warm water over and over. Use a fan facing towards the open window to heat the unit for the first time after all cleaning. This will vent the "burn-off smell" outside and not in the first cooking food. Thank You.
