Dryer starts drying, but after flame goes out it will not reignite even though the igniter will come on. If you let it sit for 5 or 10 minutes it will ignite and run until it cycles off. You then have to turn off the dryer and wait another 5 or 10 minutes.

ANSWER Hi Gary. Couple of things.. It sounds like the venting system is clogged or kinked. You will need to check the vent and clean it out. Be sure and clean the vent pipe and the dryer air duct assembly. If the air flow is not good, the unit will retain moist air causing the clothes not to dry. Try running the unit with the vent unhooked from the back of the dryer and see if the dryer works properly. Then if all OK with the vent , Check the flame sensor wich ohms closed cold. Part # 338906. Thank You.
