My lower wash arm is too high. Expert answer a bit confusing. Can the backflush arm and seal rings get dislodged. When I took off the filter, it looked like they can only go one way. When I put the filter piece back on it is approximately 1/2" off the bottom of dishwasher, but guard ends up being about 2" or so off the bottom and flush arm so high it won't spin.

ANSWER OK, Let's start all over, Make sure the lower rack rollers are all properly attached to the lower rack, and the rollers are setting on the rack track molded into the side of the tub. If the cover , back flush arm and filter are installed properly, the vanes on the bottom of the cover 6-914124 will be in contact with the pump lower housing, and the back flush arm 99002043 and seal 912313 will spin freely with little to no resistance. when the wash arm support 99002041 and nut 99001426 are installed. There should only be a 3/8 to 1/4 inch up and down movement in the assembly, if all is correct. Install the lower wash arm onto the cover and check the cover for warpage or distotion. Install the nozzle, with the vane down, then install the spray arm retainer nut. Recheck the up and down movement and spin the spray arm assembly for spin, and install the rack. Thanks
