The outer window frame on this 24" wall oven melted/broke (rental apt) . We see the part is no longer available. The upper section and sides down about half way somehow melted and fell between the outer and inner glass panels (or fell between and then melted) 1) What would cause this to happen? 2) Any suggestions as to how/where to find a replacement frame? My tenant is refusing responsibility and i'd hate to have to replace the entire oven, as it operated fine.... 3) how does it effect the operation of the oven if the outer glass is missing?

ANSWER Hello Sue,
The only way the unit would have melted the outer frame is if the unit would have overheated for extended period of time. The manufacturer made the part no longer available with no way to get part.
