I just replaced the control panel on the unit. After I did, I turned on power to the machine and it immediately blew the breaker. I called you guys and asked if there might be somethin else in the circuit that could cause the breaker to blow. He said the wiring harness would be the next suspect. So my question is, how do I check the wiring harness. I do have a vom, but no inductive testers or anything like that.
If you have a continuity tester you would just check the continuity of the wires. You can also visually inspect the wires, as it sounds like it is shorting to ground, which is a normal indicator of an exposed or broken wire.
