I had previously asked a question about the icemaker not filling all cylinders each cycle and being very sporatic as to how many cylinders were filled each cycle. You recommended replacing the icemaker. Would replacing the icemaker control work or is necessary to replace the entire icemaker?
ANSWER Hello Chuck,
This could be the fault of the ice maker control W10190935 water pressure to the ice maker. I would remove the water line from the back of the unit and turn the water on with the line in a bucket. If the water pressure is low, this would explain the issue since the unit fills on a time basis. If the water pressure is good, the ice maker control has bad contacts in it.
