My icemaker just stopped working. the water in door works fine but no ice, no water fills nothing. I bought a new icemaker but have not installed it yet, should I order a new wire harness also ?
ANSWER Pat, No you shouldn't need a wire harness. If the new ice maker doesn't come with a harness, you can transfer the harness from the original ice maker to the replacement ice maker. But, before you replace the ice maker, you should check or replace the fill valve, on the back of the refrigerator. The valve is more likely to fail before the ice maker would.
