The freezer has been frozen solid twice and I have defrosted it and replaced all covers, etc. both times. Does the wire harness pt 34 have a sensor on it that activates the defrost cycle? the one on mine looks like it wants to come out of its container on one side. If you think a new harness will solve my problem, I'll order one right now. Thanks

ANSWER Hi Hal. The defrost thermostat is part # 4387490. The defrost heater is part # 2263749. These are "normal" parts that fail to give you the issues you have. Thank you.
