My original defrost heater (lower) has been changed and we cant find the original part and i cant measure the electrical resistance. can you please tell me the technical specifications (electrical resistance, wire diameter, wire length,..)
please not that we are using 220 volt
or can you tell me the resistance of both heater(lower and upper) is equal????
refrigerator Model: GS20X83
ANSWER Ali, It doesn't really work that way. The heater assembly is a one piece assembly, it contains both heaters, and wiring. If one of the heaters does not have a "closed" circuit, if you place a meter across the two wires that attach to the thermostat and the wire harness, and there's not a "closed" circuit, then the complete assembly needs to be replaced 61002101.
