What is the normal resistamce on the heating element supposed to read?
ANSWER Hello Jeff,
The resistance on the heating element should be from 7 to 12 ohms as per the manufacturer. As a technician, I've seen elements read from 10 to 17 ohms and still give a few more years of trouble free service.
