Does no continuity indicate a bad heater thermostat?
ANSWER Hello Greg. The thermostat should give you a closed reading for continuity at room temperature. Here is a link you can refer to for help with using a multi meter: http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html . So if you are not getting a closed reading, then yes your thermostat is defective. Thanks!
