Can you tell me how to check the heat element. What ohms of resistance and what voltage should it have going to it ? Thanks
ANSWER Hi Daniel. You can check at the white wire of the door switch (incoming lead) neutral and the white/red wire of the timer with the breaker turned off. Unplug these wires and you should get 10-30 ohms resistance on these wires if the thermal fuse is good and not open, (fuse part # 3368928). Check to make sure the element is not shorted against one lead to the element itself also. Heating element part # W10082894. Also with the power on you can see at these 2-points that if the timer output has 120 vac output. If not it is part # 8535372. Thank You.
