Order Number: 3407805 I have a Kenmore/Whirlpool washer, model # 11042922200, and I was getting a fault code F/05. As a result, I have replaced the water temperature sensor and heating element (not sure if maybe the replacement parts are defective - maybe previously used as they were not in a sealed bag but in a taped box). Anyway, when I started up the washer again, I got the F/05 fault code again. After cancelling it, I then get the F/11 code. So now after replacing the temp sensor and heating element, I am getting the F/05 and then F/11 fault codes. Suggestions? The connections seem good on the heating element and all wires were reconnected.
If you test the heater resistance and the thermistor resistance per the tech sheet and if they both check ok and the wiring is good, then you will want to replace the main control board.
