The bottom black wire is completely fried off of the heating element to where it is no longer attached to the connector. This has happened before so I stripped the wire back and reattached to the connector. It ended up doing the same thing a few weeks later. There has to be a reason why this keeps happening but I don't know where to start looking and or testing.
Usually the reason for the wire to burn a second time after putting a new terminal on it is that the wire has been weakened and not cut back far enough. Also the wire having corrosion on it would cause the same issue. You would want to make sure that you are also using a high heat connector to reconnect the wire.
