Yes I have check all the sensors and they test good. I disconected the dryer vent hose and I get plenty of air flow but the gas still shuts off after a few seconds. My son said that he had the same problem and he change the ingniter and that corrected the problem. I am sorry to be such a problem, but am stuck as what to do.
ANSWER Hello Jim. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the coils 279834 are bad and will need to be replaced. With the flame only lasting for a few seconds, the primary and secondary coils are opening and releasing the gas for ignition. Then when the unit goes to switch, the coils are failing.
