The felt around the dryer filter (w10049360) has come loose from the filter. If I clean the felt and the channel is this the correct adhesive to use to put them back together? And will this work? Or should I bite the bullet and buy a new filter?

ANSWER Hello Lintqueen. You can use the high temperature adhesive Y055980 on the felt, but don't use a lot of it and make sure it is completely dry before using the filter. It is best to replace the filter. Hope this helps.
