I have installed a new high voltage control board 12920710. The display comes up PE0 000 on power up after this the only response I get from the control panel is H2O on refrig temp + and ICE on refrig temp -. Otherwise no response from any key or using the instructions. I started with the doors open and tried with the doors closed several times each way, still no response. I reinstaled old board and the display and all buttons work properly so I assume it is not the key pad. Any ideas?

ANSWER Mike, To get the board to work you have to program it. There should have been instructions in the box but just in case here is how you will do it. You will push the door alarm button, then push the freezer down button. Releasing the door alarm button and keep holding the freezer down for approximately 3 seconds. The display will start flashing. Release freezer down button and push it one time. This will be in the programming mode. There is a code at the bottom of the serial tag that you will have to enter. Use the refrigerator up and down keys to change the numbers and use the freezer up key to advance to the next number. Once you have code entered press and hold the freezer down key and this will lock the code in. The display will flash. Open both the doors and close them and the display should go to the temp.
