My washer recently stopped working, with a Sd code. The repair technician from a local shop came out and replaced the drum hub, which had stripped out the internal teeth. It ran OK for about 3 weeks, then stripped out the hub again. I obtained a replacement through the local dealer under parts warranty, and replaced it for the second time. It only ran 2 loads before it stripped out again. The drum feels like it spins freely, so it doesn't APPEAR to be an issue with the shaft bearings. Any suggestions?
2 things can cause the tub hub to strip out. The first is overloading of the unit and second is that there is not enough water in the tub. You will want to make sure that you are not putting too much in the unit and make sure that the unit is getting the proper amount of water.
