My ice machine is letting to much water in the bin and over flowing in the waste line. I read here where the water valve has an approximately 7 seconds time on it. Is this the only calibration for the water and if so how is the 7 seconds controlled. Last if this is true, I should replace the valve and that should fix the "to much" water in the reservoir and overflowing, wasting so much water. Correct?
The ice machine is designed to run the water during the defrost mode only and will run 60 to 120 seconds. In the time that the water is running it will fill what water was taken from the tank and will be flushing the tank as well. This is the design of the unit and there is no way to change this.
