My water for ice maker keeps running and filling up the ice trey.
It is a Whirlpool, as indicated by the model number.
Can you kindly advise what parts I need to fix this problem?
Please e mail us. Thanks in advance.
ANSWER Hello Joy. If the unit is overfilling, and there is no power to the water valve, replace the water valve. If it is just leaking into the ice bucket, replace the icemaker. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
