The ice maker which used to work OK, now works when it wants to. The water still works good, the filter has been replaced. How/what/where/when do we check 1st? What has happened? Is this a problumatic unit? Please reply ASAP! Thx, Tim
ANSWER Hello Tim. The ice maker W10122559 cycles based on the temperature of the unit. When the icemaker senses the ice in the tray is frozen, it cycles and ejects the frozen ice and brings in water to start a new batch of ice. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the icemaker is bad and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps.
