If my ice maker is forming icicles at the bottom (and leaking water everywhere), will I need a new ice maker unit or new water inlet valve - which I understand is on the bottom of the fridge? I have read several conflicting answers online, so I want to make sure I am repairing the right part?
ANSWER Hello AJ. If the icemaker is over filling, replace the water valve. If it is just leaking, replace the icemaker.
