My dryer threw the belt for unknown reasons. When I opened the dryer up, I was able to put the belt back on correctly but it apparently does not track correctly and throws the belt off again. I don't know why it threw it in the first place but would a worn belt not track correctly or do I have other problems. Everything else seems to operate correctly.
ANSWER Hello Doug. It sounds like the belt W10198086 and the idler pulley 691366 will need to be replaced. Make sure when you install the new parts, you place the idler pulley in the slots closest to the motor on the dryer.
