Does the idler arm screw and sleeve move with the idler pulley wheel or is it supposed to move freely on the sleeve? This dryer hasn't run in 9 years. The pulley wheel wasn't moving so we removed it to try to free it up. The pulley wheel moves now but so does the sleeve and screw that attaches it to the bracket.

The idler pulley 6-3037050 and the brass colored bushing in its' center should be as one piece. If the center metal part turns in the plastic, it will require replacement.
