How do I know if I'm buying the correct part(igniter harness)? The problem that I'm having with my range is the oven and broiler doesn't heat up. The stove top burners work properly but the oven doesn't. My Electrical panel works as well.
ANSWER Hello Tony. Check and see if the igniter is sparking. If not, you may have a bad clock assembly or spark module. You will test for the clock to send power to the module. If it is and the igniter does not spark, you will replace the module W10331686. If there is no power coming from the clock to the module in bake cycle, you will replace the clock 6610449. If there is a spark, but the unit will not light, you may have a bad gas valve W10293048. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
