Purchased new ignightor old one the wire was broke put the new one in turned oven on and it wasnt working just before the oven quit working I heard a loud pop I assumed it was that wire that broke that made that noise maybe something else caused that ignitor to short out help

ANSWER Hello Mark. If the wire shorted, it has damaged the control board 5701M802-60 and the control board will need to be replaced with the igniter in the unit.
