My Caloric “Heritage Series” oven has an Electronic Spark Igniter that I now need to light each time. When I replace this part will that also fix my oven baking “too hot” issue? Or could there be another issue, like that being a the Capillary Bulb or Tube going bad, since the temperature is transferred from the oven to the thermostat through this part?
What are the part numbers I need to use to replace these parts?
Do you have these parts in stock?
ANSWER Hello Deborah. No, replacing the igniter will not repair the heating issue. You will need a new thermostat 0086984. Unfortunately, This part has been permanently discontinued by the manufacturer and we don't know of any source or replacement for the part. Thanks.
