This is an Amana Gas Range. The Gas top works fine. The oven will not light. The Broiler does not light. I see no glow in either igniter. The oven worked fine one day ago. Is this likely to be an igniter problem or a gas valve problem? Thank you.
ANSWER Leinow, Though possible, it's not likely that both igniters would fail at the same time. It's more likely you have a failed ERC 77001202. You may want to test for 120 VAC at each of the igniter wire harnesses, with a multimeter, to verify the voltage from the control. here's some help for meter usage, [http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html] You can also test the igniters for a "closed" circuit at the same time. If all checks OK, then repalce the gas valve. Thanks and Good Luck
