When I turn the machine on, the instument panel lites up, but nothing happens. When I push start again, its' lights go off and the machine starts to run, but its not allowing water to go through machine. After running a little, the machine shuts off again. I'm getting water to the machine, but it won't go through the part that hooks to water supply line. What is the name of that part and is that the problem?
ANSWER Hello Glenn,
The part you are referring to is called the water inlet valve 6-920534. Before changing it, you should check to make sure that voltage, (120Vac), is getting to the valve. Replace the water valve if voltage is getting to it. If no voltage is there, you need to check further as you probably have either a bad door switch, control board, or float switch. Speaking of the float switch, you should make sure nothing has fallen inside the unit and is blocking this switch in the up position.
