The innermost piece of glass on my door is broken. I ordered a replacement piece after being assured that this could be easily replaced. However, after taking the door apart, I now find that the broken glass is housed in a metal frame. I am unsure how to open the frame without bending it. The frame actually holds two identical pieces of glass and looks to be a solid piece that is molded to fit around the glass creating a "sandwich". HELP!
ANSWER Hello Lisa. The glass frame should have a tab folded over at one corner. You have to look for it around the edges, (you cannot see it if you can see the glass). When the tab is folded out, you can see that it slides into a slot. Wear gloves and good luck!
