The machine suddenly started vibrating (violently) and walking across the floor during the spin cycle. The machine has never exhibited this behavior in 10 years. I replaced 3 suspension springs (#63907) and 1 counterbalance spring (#388492). Tub base pads (#3363660) look new. All the support frames under the tub are not rusted or broken or cracked. The salt water suspension ring seems to have no leaks and I can feel and hear the water sloshing in the ring. This machine will vibrate and walk even when empty. Any Clues? P.S. I saw a picture of the replacement tub (W10389328) on your site that shows the balance ring on top of the tub. The picture shows the teeth that are situated around the inside of the ring. They appear NOT to be engaged against anything. Is this balance ring supposed to move radially? My inner teeth are engaged fully against protrusions which makes my balance ring unable to move radially.

ANSWER Richard, Check and make sure the rear self levelling/locking legs, are locked in place. Is there any movement or vobration in the floor. Stand in front of the washer a foot away, and see if you feel movement in the floor. You also need to check and make sure the skid plate and base "pads" aren't damaged or worn, and that the pads haven't slid off of each other. And make sure the cabinet has been aligned and installed properly on the base and back panel properly.
