The water and ice won't stop coming out ot the dispenser. You have to push the pad a few times to stop the water or ice from continuing to come out. What part or parts do I need to correct this issue?

ANSWER Hello Johnny,
This is a common problem that, once corrected, can easily be prevented from occurring again. You see, when ice is dispensed, it should be dispensed into an empty glass because if a drink is in the glass, it splatters. When it splatters it gets up into the mechanical and electrical apparatus that controls the dispense of the water and ice.
To correct the issue, you have to remove the dispense controls and clean the sticky residue from the parts behind the rubber grommet that protects the micro switch 61005520. Once the sticky is gone, the dispenser will work like new.
