I've received AP4301203 Insulation, Access Panel. It's folded in half with a sticky substance holding each side together. I presume I'm to "pull" the sticky substance apart and install it on the back side of the AP4566226 Panel that I've also received. However, pulling it apart along the line of sticky substance, tears the insulation. What is the correct way to install the insulation to the panel?

ANSWER Hello Neil,
You would want to pull it aparts as you stated but you may want to use like a putty knife to separate it.
