If all of the tubes or hose have been replaced, but not the filter will that cause a leak from the filter inside?

ANSWER Hi Ann. If the water filter is clogged then the water will leak out of the filter head assy. Change the filter is always the first measure. Filter part # 8171413. Thank You.
