I also replaced the circuit board on the fountain and I'm getting the same result, a basic lack of function with occasional bouts of working. Right now it's stuck on Cubed ice and nothing else works. I just ordered the membrane. Since it's probably not the circuit board, can I return it? Do you have any tips for removing the old membrane?
ANSWER Hello Nick,
Yes, you can certainly return the board. Our warranty states 365 days for any reason. All you have to do is call in for a return authorization.
As far as the membrane switch goes, get the edge of a knife under the old membrane and peel it off. Use rubbing alcohol to remove all residue of the old membranes switches adhesive. Once all the residue is removed, be extremely careful to get the new part straight before sticking it on. The adhesive on the back of it will stick so tightly that sometimes the new part is destroyed trying to re-position it.
