I bought this oven used, I don't know if it was converted to LP. I am using it for NG. The burners seem to work OK flame is blue, but I can't get the power burner to start with the Ignition. I hear the gas comming out the orifice. I took out the power burner orifice and it says L80. is that the right orifice for NG? I also read on the owners manual about cleaning the burner caps, So I will try that. If I need the NG orifices where can I get them? Thanks, Dave
ANSWER Hello David,
I seriously doubt this unit was changed over because if you hook natural gas to a unit that is set up for LP, the flames would be at very low when set to high if it would light at all. The flames also would not be blue but a lot of orange and yellow. The natural gas orifices come in the unit when new and the LP orifices come in a kit. The manufacturer assumes that the customer will keep up with the natural gas orifices so, if they are ever needed, you have to order them individually. The L80 is an identification and it does not indicate the type of gas it is to be used with.
