I have a water leak and wanted to use the Kit, Hub & Seal to replace the upper and lower seals as well as the tub seal. I have managed to disassemble the top, and gain access the Drive Bell, but can not get it off. I see there is a 'puller' but since the kit comes with a new Drive bell, is there a way to take off the old one without buying the puller?
ANSWER Hello Shailesh,
There are two ways to get the drive bell off. You can get it off with gear puller or you can cut it off with dremel. You have to be careful not to damage transmission shaft with the dremel. The most effective way to remove though is a gear puller.
