Replaced icemaker and secondary valve. The water comes out at door assume that the primary is ok , not sure what to do next. Please help. Thanks patrick
ANSWER Hi Patrick. What exactly is the issue? Are you not getting ice? If this is the issue, make sure the fill tube is not frozen full. If a water valve is bad and constantly allow the water to trickle, it will freeze and back fill the tube. Take note how the fill tube rest into the back of the ice maker. You can remove it by disconnecting the 1/4" water line at the back. Slightly twist sideways and pull the fill tube out. Rinse it out under sink warm water and completely dry it with a hair dryer. If it is damaged, replace it with part # 67003576. Is the ice maker ejector arms blocked by a stuck ice cube and it wont allow it to re cycle and harvest? Remove the front cover to the ice maker. You can use an insulated wire and jump between "T" and "H" momentarily to get the gear to start to rotate. Remove the jumper wire within 30 -45 seconds. This will jump start a harvest mode. If it will not, then the ice maker is part # D7824706Q. Thank You.
