Black plastic drive gear stripped most of it teeth. customer told it was discontinued. If correct, can a newer version be used by buying matching parts below this gear/shaft etc?
ANSWER Hello Fred, unfortunately that isn't something that would work for you. The coupler is actually threading onto the motor shaft, so that would mean the entire motor would need to be replaced. There are differences in the motors, and they would be model specific. Also from a financial standpoint, I don't think you'd find it something worth doing, if it would work.
