How do you get the knob off of a Maytag washer?
ANSWER Hello Joe. The color of the clip does not always match, but if you look at the timer picture 21002232 you will see the green clip that needs to be removed to replace the timer knob 21001985. You need to make sure the knob is pressed in, and pull out the clip on the back of the timer to remove the knob. If your clip is a different color, it will still need to be removed to replace the timer knob. Hope this helps.
